This is my 1968 Volkswagen Kombi t2 (bay window) that is a USA spec model, meaning it is left hand drive and was sent to California in 1968 brand new where it stayed until 1980 when it was imported to NZ.
It has been fitted out with a Westfalia camper conversion with pop top roof
it has a single port 1600cc with a 4 sod manual gearbox and cruises along nicely at 55mph
It has also been lowered in the front and rear by roughly 2inches
She is a pleasure to drive and gets many people talking and smiling when they see her either driving or parked up,a great conversation piece and she has the nickname "Betty" with the personalised plate MLKBTL (milk bottle) due to her couloiring (L-87 pearl white)
We look forward to seeing everyone on the drive and will be excited to see all the classic cars out and about for a great cause!
Cheers,
Jason
Great cause Jadon
