Update: Saturday 27th September, the afternoon.. (Dave sat at his desk and slowly began to type..)

Dear Distinguished Gentlemen and Ladies!

A quick update before tomorrow - all is going to plan so really just some reminders and the QR code for Sentosa access

We have about 45 cars attending tomorrow - for the new folks a quick thank you and welcome and I will try and cover previously issued updates here in this summary. A copy of this message will be sent to your registered emails.  

OUR HOST HOTEL

The Sofitel Hotel in Sentosa is our host once again and is also our start and finish point.

We will meet and end our drive there on Sunday.

Some light refreshments will be served after registration so do come early! 

1. Meet point: Sofitel Sentosa 
2. 7am on Sunday 28th September 2025. 
3. Make sure you have your Sentosa QR code for free entry (see below)
4. Head to our counter in the foyer to pick up your car decals and grouping - affix to your car and then join us for a coffee, a croissant, and a quick briefing at Le Bar.
5. Wheels will roll promptly at 8:15am so don’t be late!

THE ROUTE:

1. Jeff, Alvin and Mysefl checked the route today and its all good! (No sinkholes..) 
2. The online map has been updated for you to take a look at the route in full, we will also hand out paper guidance on the day.
3. Do note we will have a number of leads interspersed along the convoy to help guide the group. Each of you will be assigned a lead to make the drive easy.
4. We have also arranged a stop at Gillman barracks for some photo taking.
5. Route timing: Should all be done and dusted by 10:30am back at the Sofitel Hotel. Do join us after for some light refreshments.

Bidding has now closed and congratulations to the successful bidders!

ACCESS TO SENTOSA

We will be crossing twice on Sunday morning. Sofitel has supplied their QR code for free access (see below) through the gates (use gates 1,2 or 3 on the far left, do not use the auto gates). 

THE PAPS and the BIKERS

We are expecting a lot of photographers & media on the day so remember to dress dapper and drive responsibly. Also this years route takes us along some popular early morning bike routes so take it easy and remember to share the road! Do note any ungentlemanly behaviour will lead to immediate expulsion from the drive.  

WEATHER

Yes, it's very likely it might rain but we will carry on as Gentlefolk do (and think how cooling that is...) so do bring an umbrella!

Please ask family and friends to donate! Thanks for the feedback on some of the niggles in the system making it a bit hard to use. We have passed details on to the Admin in Sydney and have rectified.
