Please note, as information changes, ride details will be available closer to the ride date and subject to a COVID-19 Self Declaration. We will contact all participants in mid-May with all the ride information.
We will meet at Abercrombie House in Bathurst at 10am. But feel free to arrive earlier if you would like to spend a bit more time looking around before we depart.
The house & gardens will be open from 9am for inspection at an additional cost if you would like to take the opportunity to see inside one of Bathurst's most iconic & historic houses. Please allow at least half an hour to tour the house and gardens.
They will have a barista on site that will be serving coffee, drinks & light refreshments from 9.30am.
The drive will depart at 11am where we will join the Mitchell Highway at Dunkeld & head towards Orange.
After 27km we will turn off the highway at Pretty Plains Road & head through Millthorpe towards Forest Reefs. Passing through Forest Reefs we will follow the signs to Mandurama.
When we get to Mandurama we will turn right on to the Mid Western Highway & follow the signs to Cowra.
In 27km we will turn off the highway at the second turn off to Woodstock, Sheet of Bark Road & follow the signs to Wyangla Waters State Park (hopefully if the Canola is still in bloom we will get some good views of the fields of gold. From here it is only a short 3km drive to our destination, the Royal Hotel at Woodstock

After lunch you are free to explore the canola will be in bloom around the Cowra district at this time & will make for some great photos.
Or you can join for a drive back to Bathurst with those that will be heading straight back after lunch.
