Final Mo Update

I eventually abandoned the rather scruffy 'Merv Hughes' and opted for the low maintenance, wash and wear verson of the semi-'Tom Selleck'.

Mo - Week 4

A quick update on the Mo progress at week 4. I've still not decided on the final style, so letting it grow out for the time being. Moira kind of likes the handlebar style, with a curl, but I'm not so sure.

The next update will be at week 8 in early September, with a final photo all dressed up and ready to go on the 24th September.

Mo - week 2

A moustache is not a prerequisite for the Distinguished Gentlemen's Drive, however in keeping with the spirit of Movember I gave a commitment that I would grow one if my target of $1000 in donations was achieved.

Here is my first progress shot at exactly two weeks. I don't know what style I'll end up with yet, but there's plenty to prune back later on.

Target reached; it's Mo time!

Sincere thanks once again to all those generous people out there who have helped me reach my fundraising goal of $1000.

The Mo has officially started, but I'm yet to decide on a style. It will be something in keeping with the nature of the event I guess.

We're also still at the top of the fundraising leader board (for the time being), so that's another milestone.

WOW, we are world leaders...!

Your generous response to my fundraising request has been both overwhelming and humbling.

It has also put us in the enviable position as being the leading fundraiser - worldwide!

I realise that it's very early days and that will change shortly, but I am enjoying our 5 minutes of fame.

A sincere thanks again to all those who have supported me so far.

Hopefully we'll get to $1000, so I've started on the Mo growing in anticipation.

Getting behind the wheel for The Distinguished Gentleman's Drive

On Sunday, September 24th 2023, I'll be taking part in The Distinguished Gentleman's Drive. Together with thousands of classic car enthusiasts around the world, I will be raising funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health for the charity, Movember.

Before the dapper day, I'll be looking to raise as much as possible for the cause, to help men around the world live happier and healthier lives. With men's chances of developing prostate cancer later in life increasing, and one man dying every minute by suicide, we must do all we can to prevent more men from suffering.

This is something that affects us all and together, we can make a change. Please give what you can.

PS:  If you can help me raise over $1000 in donations, and in keeping with the true Movember tradition, I will also grow a moustashe to celebrate the dapper occasion. Progress photos will be shared here!
