Closing in on DGD2023

With just a few weeks to go until the Distinguished Gentleman's Drive 2023, please consider pledging to my fundraising efforts at the link below. Funds raised in Canada are donated to Movember Canada and are put towards initiatives which are saving men's lives, including local projects at the U of C. In addition to prostate cancer research, a major focus of this drive is men's mental health and suicide prevention, particularly destigmatizing men seeking out and actually receiving help when we need it. The stigma, being told to "man up" instead of dealing with mental health issues, is a big reason why on average a man commits suicide every minute. That's 525,000 men every year.

A $5, $10, or $20 pledge might not seem like it would make a difference, but there are over 3,300 people fundraising for this year's DGD, so it all adds up and every dollar raised goes towards saving men's lives.

The Calgary drive is getting close to our goal of raising $10,000 this year, so please pledge what you can and thank you for your generosity!

We will be driving dapper through our beautiful Alberta foothills on September 24th.

Getting behind the wheel for 2023 The Distinguished Gentleman's Drive

On Sunday, September 24th 2023, I'll once again have the honour of Captaining The Distinguished Gentleman's Drive for the Calgary area. Together with thousands of classic car enthusiasts around the world, I will be raising funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health for our charity partner, Movember Canada.

If you have a pre-1980 car or truck (or a replica or continuation model that passes as pre-1980), please consider registering and joining us on our Drive. It's a great day and a fun way to raise funds for a good cause!

Before the dapper day, I'll be looking to raise as much as possible for the cause, to help men around the world live happier and healthier lives. With men's chances of developing prostate cancer later in life increasing, and one man dying every minute by suicide, we must do all we can to prevent more men from suffering.

This is something that affects us all and together, we can make a change. Please give what you can.
